What this guide is (and is not)
Idle Sleep after / “never sleep on AC” in Settings belong in always-on-pc-earnapp-setup-europe-2026. That page is the ordinary timeout story. When I close the lid belongs in earnapp-windows-lid-close-europe-2026 — a clamshell event, not Allow hybrid sleep. Hibernate after X minutes, Start-menu Hibernate, and a full S4 dump belong in earnapp-windows-hibernate-europe-2026 — no Sleep, RAM fully off. Modern Standby / Standby (S0 Low Power Idle) belongs in earnapp-windows-modern-standby-europe-2026: the display blanks, radios trickle, no classic S3. Fast startup belongs in earnapp-windows-fast-startup-europe-2026 — you clicked Shut down. EarnApp is a Bright Data client that needs a live, recognisably residential session. Install from the tracked invite, then set Allow hybrid sleep = Off when plugged in on the one spare always-on PC — or do not farm a box that still Sleeps. A travel laptop can keep hybrid sleep; do not farm that chassis overnight.
Confirm it is hybrid sleep, not lid-close, S4 idle, or Fast startup
Allow hybrid sleep On with a leftover Sleep after is still an overnight EarnApp killer — not a missing promo code.
- If Settings → System → Power still allows Sleep after a few minutes on AC, fix that first on the always-on guide. Then open Advanced power settings and confirm Sleep after is also Never there — the Settings app and the Control Panel tree can disagree
- If the stall is only when the laptop lid shuts, use the lid-close guide. Hybrid sleep is not the lid row; it is how Sleep is implemented when Sleep does happen
- If you clicked Hibernate, or Hibernate after still has minutes, use the Hibernate S4 guide. Hybrid sleep is Sleep + a safety dump, not a full S4 from the Start menu
- If you clicked Shut down and the tray is missing until a Restart, use the Fast startup guide. Fast startup also uses hiberfil.sys. Hybrid sleep uses it on Sleep
- Open Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Power Options → Change plan settings → Change advanced power settings → Sleep. Note Allow hybrid sleep (On/Off, On battery vs Plugged in) next to Sleep after and Hibernate after. Desktop Balanced plans often ship Allow hybrid sleep = On
- Optional: powercfg /a — if Standby (S3) is available and hybrid sleep is On, Start → Sleep is a hybrid dump. If only Standby (S0 Low Power Idle) is listed, use the Modern Standby guide instead. Search “Allow hybrid sleep Windows 11” on Microsoft Learn, not a Telegram “EarnApp hybrid.reg”
Turn hybrid sleep off on the EarnApp box
Do this on the machine that actually runs EarnApp, on the home Ethernet port (or stable home Wi‑Fi) you intend to keep. Do not fight a work laptop whose MDM restores hybrid sleep, and do not farm a phone hotspot.
- Open /earnapp/ and use the RefDeal tracked invite if the client is not installed yet. The invite attributes a first signup. It does not change hybrid sleep
- Best EU path: spare Ethernet mini-PC — Allow hybrid sleep Off (plugged in). Sleep after Never in both Settings and Advanced. Hibernate after Never. Lid Do nothing if it has a lid. Hide Start → Sleep if household hands press it. Leave the box on AC, vents clear
- On battery on a real travel laptop: hybrid sleep On can be reasonable. Farm overnight only on AC with hybrid sleep Off
- Confirm the official tray stays Online through a quiet night with nobody using Start → Sleep. Do not buy a “hiberfil unlock pack.” Do not delete hiberfil.sys by hand while Fast startup is still On — use the Fast startup guide for Shut down
After Allow hybrid sleep is Off on AC
Sign in with the same account you intend to keep. Leave the box on AC. Confirm the official tray. Use /earnapp/ if you never started from our tracked invite.
