Principles before containers
If a vendor offers a native Windows/Mac client, use that for your daily PC and reserve Docker for always-on spare hardware.
- One residential IP has a reputation — treat it as scarce
- Prefer official images / documented compose examples from each vendor
- Cap CPU/RAM; monitor disk growth from logs
- Separate devices beat parallel clients fighting the same IP
Sensible starting stack
Many RefDeal readers start with one Docker-friendly app (Repocket or Traffmonetizer) plus one mobile/desktop app (Honeygain or EarnApp) on a different device. Add PacketStream only after two weeks of clean dashboards.
Watch for “limited”, “banned”, or zero-traffic days after each change. Roll back immediately if earnings collapse.
What not to do
- No datacenter/VPS residential-proxy fakery — against most ToS and a ban magnet
- No random “multi-earner” GitHub bundles with unknown binaries
- No VPN tunnels unless the app explicitly allows and your IP stays residential-clean
