What this guide is (and is not)
Idle Sleep after / “never sleep on AC” as the farm policy belongs in always-on-pc-earnapp-setup-europe-2026. Energy Saver (or classic Battery saver) belongs in earnapp-windows-energy-saver-europe-2026. Task Manager Efficiency / EcoQoS on EarnApp.exe belongs in earnapp-windows-efficiency-mode-europe-2026. Minimum processor state, Maximum processor state, Processor performance boost mode, Processor idle disable, and System cooling policy belong in their own Advanced power settings pages. Game Mode and Xbox Game Bar belong in their gaming pages. USB Root Hub Device Manager, USB 3 LPM, USB selective suspend, NIC adapter checkbox, Wi‑Fi Power Saving Mode, random MAC, EEE / Green Ethernet, PCIe ASPM, Fast startup, Modern Standby, Hibernate, hybrid sleep, lid close, power button, turn-off-display, hard-disk timeout, AHCI HIPM/DIPM, metered NIC, reboot autostart, SmartScreen, new-PC, offline/$0 and first PayPal have their own pages. Here the stall was Power mode still Best power efficiency on AC while Energy Saver was already Off, Efficiency leaf already Off, Sleep after already Never, and the tray still claimed Online.
RefDeal will not invent a “Power mode unlock promo,” a Best performance coupon, or an EU payout minimum copied from a 2023 screenshot. Power mode in Windows 11 Settings is an overlay: Best power efficiency vs Balanced vs Best performance. OEM laptops often park on Best power efficiency even on AC after a feature update. EarnApp is a Bright Data client that needs a live, recognisably residential session and a box that does not overlay-throttle background work. Install from the tracked invite, then set Power mode to Best performance on AC on a dedicated farm box. A travel laptop can stay Balanced on battery; do not farm that chassis overnight in a bag.
Confirm it is the Power mode slider, not Energy Saver
A Power mode Best power efficiency slider is not Energy Saver On — it is a quiet-hour EarnApp stall from a Windows 11 overlay on an “awake” box, not a missing promo code.
- Settings → System → Power & battery. Find Power mode (Best power efficiency / Balanced / Best performance). Screenshot it before you touch anything. Some OEM skins rename it; look for the three-way slider, not the Energy Saver switch
- If Energy Saver is still On (or Battery saver is still On on older Windows 11), that is the Energy Saver guide first. Power mode Best performance does not cancel Energy Saver; the battery overlay can still cap background bandwidth
- If Power mode is already Best performance but Task Manager still tags EarnApp.exe with Efficiency, that is the Efficiency-mode guide
- If Power mode is already Best performance but Minimum processor state is still 5% in Advanced power settings, that is the min-processor-state guide. The Settings slider is not the hidden PPM tree
- If Power mode is already Best performance but Maximum processor state is still 99% (Turbo cap), that is the max-processor-state guide
- If Put my device to sleep after is 5, 10, or 15 minutes on AC, that is the always-on guide first. A parked machine after Sleep is Sleep (or Modern Standby), not an overlay that throttled an “awake” box
- Search Microsoft Learn for “Windows 11 Power mode Best performance,” not a Telegram “EarnApp power overlay unlock.zip”. OEM Control Center apps (Lenovo Vantage, Dell Power Manager, ASUS Armoury) can override the Settings slider after reboot — check those if the slider snaps back
- After a quiet hour, reopen Power & battery. If the slider is back on Best power efficiency, an OEM overlay or a Group Policy restored it — this page until it sticks. If the slider stayed Best performance and the tray still Limited, check USB hub / NIC / Sleep / Energy Saver next
Set Power mode to Best performance on the EarnApp box, on AC
Do this on the machine that actually runs EarnApp, on the home Ethernet path you intend to keep. Do not fight a work laptop whose MDM restores Best power efficiency, and do not farm a phone hotspot.
- Open /earnapp/ and use the RefDeal tracked invite if the client is not installed yet. The invite attributes a first signup. It does not change the Power mode overlay
- Best EU path: spare Ethernet mini-PC — Power mode = Best performance plugged in. Energy Saver Off. Efficiency leaf Off. Game Mode Off. Processor idle disable = Enabled. Processor performance boost mode = Enabled. Maximum processor state = 100%. Minimum processor state = 100%. System cooling policy = Active. USB Root Hub checkboxes Off. USB 3 LPM Off. USB selective suspend Disabled. NIC adapter checkbox Off. Put my device to sleep after = Never. Leave the box on AC, vents clear
- On battery on a real travel laptop: Balanced or Best power efficiency is acceptable so the chassis can save milliwatts. Farm overnight only on AC with Power mode Best performance, Energy Saver Off, Sleep Never, and the chassis not in a bag
- Tell the household: a dark monitor is supposed to happen; Best performance on AC will not spin extra fans by itself if cooling policy and min processor state are already sane. Do not buy a “power overlay pack”. If an OEM Control Center snaps the slider back after reboot, set that app to Performance / High performance on AC or uninstall the overlay on a dedicated farm box
After Power mode is Best performance and Sleep stays Never
Sign in with the same account you intend to keep. Leave the box on AC. Confirm the official tray through a quiet hour. Use /earnapp/ if you never started from our tracked invite.
- Tray Online through a quiet week with Power mode Best performance, Energy Saver Off, and Sleep Never: leave it. We will not quote a fake first-day amount. Screenshot your own dashboard if you need a record
- Power mode Best performance but Energy Saver still On: switch to the Energy Saver guide. This page’s slider is done; the battery overlay can still cap the client
- Power mode Best performance but EarnApp.exe still shows Efficiency: switch to the Efficiency-mode guide
- Power mode Best performance but Minimum processor state still 5%: switch to the min-processor-state guide
- Power mode Best performance but Maximum processor state still 99%: switch to the max-processor-state guide
- Power mode Best performance but Processor idle disable still Disabled: switch to the processor idle-disable guide
- Power mode Best performance but boost mode still Disabled: switch to the boost-mode guide
- Power mode Best performance but Game Mode still On: switch to the Game Mode guide
- Power mode Best performance but Sleep after still has minutes: switch to the always-on guide
- Power mode Best performance, stall is a USB dock: switch to the USB Root Hub guide
- Power mode Best performance, stall is USB 3 LPM: switch to the USB 3 LPM guide
- Power mode Best performance, tray Limited on a modern laptop with Sleep Never: switch to the Modern Standby guide and run powercfg /a
- Power mode Best performance, Energy Saver Off, Efficiency leaf Off, Game Mode Off, Game Bar Off, idle-disable Enabled, boost Enabled, max 100%, min 100%, cooling Active, Sleep Never, USB hub checkboxes Off, USB 3 LPM Off, USB selective suspend Off, HIPM/DIPM Active or N/A, ASPM Off, disk timeout Never, screen timeout short, lid Do nothing, hybrid sleep Off, power button Do nothing, Hibernate Never, Fast startup Off, NIC checkbox Off, EEE Off, Wi‑Fi unused or Maximum Performance, random MAC Off, unmetered home fibre, tray Online, still $0 after a quiet week: switch to the offline/$0 guide (firewall, official binary, Limited)
What we will not claim
There is no RefDeal EarnApp promo code, no published “Best performance bonus,” and no honest EU minimum we can paste from a 2023 screenshot. Primary CTA stays the EarnApp offer with our tracked invite. Hub: /guides/bandwidth-safety/. Starter: /en/start/bandwidth/.
