Router heat & uptime — Can the modem stay cool if a spare device runs 24/7? VPN policy on earners — Does each earner allow VPN? If no — keep tunnels off for that app. IP reputation — Recent CGNAT or business line? Some marketplaces pay less. Device isolation — Spare phone/NAS better than your only work laptop. Stop triggers — ISP complaint, dashboard limited, overheating → scale down same day. Documentation — Save ToS screenshots + start dates in case support asks.
