Promo code sanity checklist

1. Expiry date — Is there a clear end date (not "WORKING forever")?
2. Official source — Does the code/invite come from the merchant or a disclosed partner page?
3. Region & plan — Valid in your country and for the plan you actually want?
4. One path — Cashback portal OR coupon extension — not both fighting on the same order.
5. Tracking cookies — Allow them for this checkout session if required by the portal.
6. Screenshot distrust — Ignore undated social screenshots of codes.
7. RefDeal deals — Prefer /deals/ listings — expired rows are filtered at build + runtime.
8. After purchase — Keep order confirmation until rebate/bonus clears.

If a page hides expiry, skip the code — urgency without a date is a red flag.
