EarnApp vs Windows 11 NIC power saving (EU 2026)

Frissítve 5 perc olvasás

The tray says Online after you sit down. Sleep is Never on AC. Energy Saver is Off. Fast startup is Off. Overnight the dashboard barely moves. Device Manager still lets Windows turn the Wi‑Fi or Ethernet adapter off to save power. The NIC sleeps; EarnApp keeps a stale Online icon. This is the EU adapter-power checklist — not OS sleep, not Energy Saver, not Efficiency mode, not PayPal.

What this guide is (and is not)

PC sleep, lid-close and “never sleep on AC” belong in always-on-pc-earnapp-setup-europe-2026. Energy Saver belongs in earnapp-windows-energy-saver-europe-2026. Task Manager Efficiency mode / EcoQoS belongs in earnapp-windows-efficiency-mode-europe-2026. Fast startup / hybrid Shut down belongs in earnapp-windows-fast-startup-europe-2026. Metered Wi‑Fi/Ethernet belongs in earnapp-windows-metered-connection-europe-2026. A tray that vanished after reboot belongs in earnapp-windows-autostart-reboot-europe-2026. A running tray that is Offline or stuck at $0 after the NIC already stays awake belongs in earnapp-offline-zero-earnings-europe-2026. First-run SmartScreen belongs in earnapp-windows-smartscreen-install-europe-2026. Moving boxes belongs in earnapp-new-pc-same-account-europe-2026. First PayPal timing belongs in earnapp-first-paypal-cashout-europe-2026. Here Windows parked the network adapter while the rest of the PC stayed on.

RefDeal will not invent a NIC “unlock code,” a Bright Data adapter coupon, or an EU payout minimum copied from a 2023 screenshot. NIC power saving is a Device Manager / driver checkbox. EarnApp is a Bright Data client that needs a live residential session. Install from the tracked invite, then stop Windows from powering down the adapter on the one spare always-on PC.

Tracked invite → official tray Online → NIC Power Management Off → Wi‑Fi power saving Maximum Performance → one quiet week on AC.

Confirm it is the adapter, not PC sleep

A sleeping NIC is not a missing EarnApp promo code.

  • If the whole PC actually slept (fans stop, lid LED blinks), use the always-on guide. This page is only for a box that stayed on while the NIC dropped
  • Device Manager (Win+X → Device Manager) → Network adapters → right-click the adapter EarnApp uses (Wi‑Fi or Ethernet, not Bluetooth or virtual VPN NICs) → Properties → Power Management. If “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” is checked, you belong here
  • A useful test: leave the tray Online, walk away two hours, then ping the PC from a phone on the same LAN. If ping fails while the box is still humming, the adapter slept — not EarnApp “needing a promo”
  • OEM “Green Ethernet / Eco Wi‑Fi” suites can re-check the box after a driver update. Uninstall the extra power utility; do not buy a “bandwidth whitelist.” Work/school MDM that forces NIC sleep is not yours to fight

Turn NIC power saving off on the EarnApp adapter

Do this on the machine that actually runs EarnApp. Do not farm a work laptop whose MDM forces adapter sleep after idle.

  • Open /earnapp/ and use the RefDeal tracked invite if the client is not installed yet. The invite attributes a first signup. It does not change Device Manager
  • Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” on the live adapter. Click OK. Repeat after a Windows Update that reinstalls the driver — the tick often returns
  • Wi‑Fi only: Control Panel → Network adapters → Wi‑Fi → Properties → Configure → Power Management / Advanced → set power saving to Maximum Performance (wording varies by Intel/Realtek). Ethernet: skip Wi‑Fi sliders; fix the Ethernet device instead
  • USB Ethernet docks: Windows treats the dongle as a USB device that can sleep. Prefer a built-in NIC on a spare mini-PC. Do not chain a cheap USB dock + overnight EarnApp and then hunt a coupon

After the adapter stays awake

Sign in with the same account you intend to keep. Leave the box on AC. Confirm the official tray. Use /earnapp/ if you never started from our tracked invite.

  • Tray Online through a quiet night and ping still answers: leave it a week. We will not quote a fake first-day amount. Screenshot your own dashboard if you need a record
  • NIC stays up but the tray vanished after Restart: switch to the autostart/reboot guide. Adapter sleep is done
  • NIC stays up, tray Online, still $0 after a quiet week with Energy Saver Off, Efficiency leaf Off, Fast startup Off, and an unmetered home fibre line: switch to the offline/$0 guide (firewall, official binary, Limited)
  • Laptops on battery: adapter power saving exists to save milliwatts. EarnApp on a commute laptop that sleeps the Wi‑Fi in a bag is a poor EU path — plug a spare always-on mini-PC via the tracked invite

What we will not claim

There is no RefDeal EarnApp promo code, no published “NIC awake bonus,” and no honest EU minimum we can paste from a 2023 screenshot. Primary CTA stays the EarnApp offer with our tracked invite. Hub: /guides/bandwidth-safety/. Starter: /en/start/bandwidth/.

FAQ

The PC never sleeps — why would the NIC matter?

Sleep Never keeps the CPU and display policy awake. Device Manager can still power down the adapter. EarnApp then holds a stale Online tray with almost no session traffic until you wiggle the mouse.

Is there a promo code that disables NIC power saving?

No. Adapter power saving is Windows plus the vendor driver. There is no RefDeal EarnApp coupon and no “NIC whitelist” code. Fake minima lists are spam. Use /earnapp/ for the official installer and tracked invite only.

Should I leave power saving on for electricity?

On a laptop you carry, maybe. On the one spare PC you plugged in to run EarnApp overnight, milliwatts on the NIC are not the bill — overnight silence is. Uncheck the box on that adapter only.

Is this the same as Energy Saver, Efficiency mode, or Fast startup?

No. Energy Saver is a whole-PC policy. Efficiency mode is EcoQoS on one EXE. Fast startup is how Shut down is implemented. NIC power saving is the adapter. You can have all four wrong at once — fix the checkbox here, then the other guides.

Work laptop forces adapter sleep.

That device may not be yours to farm. Do not fight IT policy with driver hacks. Use a personal home PC via the tracked invite, or skip EarnApp on the managed laptop.
