What this guide is (and is not)
Idle Sleep after / “never sleep on AC” as the farm policy belongs in always-on-pc-earnapp-setup-europe-2026. USB settings → USB selective suspend setting belongs in earnapp-windows-usb-selective-suspend-europe-2026. Processor power management → Processor idle disable belongs in earnapp-windows-processor-idle-disable-europe-2026. PCI Express Link State Power Management belongs in earnapp-windows-pcie-aspm-europe-2026. Device Manager → NIC → Power Management → Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power belongs in earnapp-windows-nic-power-saving-europe-2026. Energy-Efficient Ethernet / Green Ethernet belongs in earnapp-windows-eee-green-ethernet-europe-2026. AHCI HIPM/DIPM belongs in earnapp-windows-ahci-link-power-europe-2026. Boost mode, max/min processor state, cooling policy, Energy Saver, Efficiency EcoQoS, Game Mode, Xbox Game Bar, turn-off-display, hard-disk timeout, power button, lid close, hybrid sleep, Hibernate after, Modern Standby, Fast startup, Wi‑Fi Power Saving Mode, random MAC, metered NIC, reboot autostart, SmartScreen, new-PC, offline/$0 and first PayPal have their own pages. Here the stall was USB settings → USB 3 Link Power Management still sitting on Maximum power savings while USB selective suspend is already Off, Sleep after is already Never, and the only NIC is a USB 3 dongle on AC.
RefDeal will not invent a “USB 3 LPM unlock promo,” a SuperSpeed coupon, or an EU payout minimum copied from a 2023 screenshot. USB 3 Link Power Management is a Windows plan switch (USB3LINKPOWERMGMNT): Off = keep the SuperSpeed link active; Moderate / Maximum = allow U1/U2 (and sometimes U3) link power states on an idle USB 3 port. A USB 3 Ethernet dongle that enters U2 looks like a NIC that vanished after a quiet hour even though the tray process is still running. EarnApp is a Bright Data client that needs a live, recognisably residential session and a NIC that still answers. Install from the tracked invite, then set USB 3 Link Power Management to Off on AC on a spare mini-PC. A travel laptop can keep Moderate on battery; do not farm that chassis overnight in a bag.
Confirm it is USB 3 LPM, not USB selective suspend
USB 3 Link Power Management Maximum is not USB selective suspend Enabled — it is a quiet-hour EarnApp stall from SuperSpeed U2 on an “awake” box, not a missing promo code.
- Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Power Options → your active plan → Change plan settings → Change advanced power settings. Expand USB settings. You should see USB selective suspend setting and — if unhidden — USB 3 Link Power Management. Screenshot Plugged in and On battery before you touch anything. Settings → System → Power & battery does not show this switch
- If the USB 3 LPM row is missing: elevated Command Prompt → powercfg -attributes SUB_USB USB3LINKPOWERMGMNT -ATTRIB_HIDE. Close and reopen Advanced power settings. Search Microsoft Learn for “USB 3 Link Power Management”, not a Telegram “EarnApp SuperSpeed unlock.zip”
- If USB 3 Link Power Management is already Off on AC but USB selective suspend is still Enabled, that is the USB selective-suspend guide first. USB 2 root-hub suspend vs USB 3 U1/U2 are different rows — a USB 3 dongle can still drop if only one of them is Off
- If both USB rows are already Off but Device Manager still has Allow the computer to turn off this device checked on the USB Ethernet adapter, that is the NIC Device Manager guide
- If the NIC is onboard PCIe Ethernet, not a USB dongle, this page is usually a no-op. Check EEE / Green Ethernet and PCI Express ASPM instead
- If Processor idle disable is still Disabled and the stall is CPU C-states with a built-in NIC, that is the processor idle-disable guide — not USB 3 LPM
- If Put my device to sleep after is 5, 10, or 15 minutes on AC, that is the always-on guide first. A parked machine after Sleep is Sleep (or Modern Standby), not a USB 3 U2 stall while “awake”
- From an elevated Command Prompt: powercfg /q SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_USB. Look for USB 3 Link Power Management / USB3LINKPOWERMGMNT. Typical AC farm value: Off (0). Maximum power savings is the quiet-hour USB 3 dongle stall this page is about
Set USB 3 Link Power Management to Off on the EarnApp box, on AC
Do this on the machine that actually runs EarnApp, on the home Ethernet port (USB 3 dongle or onboard) you intend to keep. Do not fight a work laptop whose MDM restores Maximum power savings, and do not farm a phone hotspot.
- Open /earnapp/ and use the RefDeal tracked invite if the client is not installed yet. The invite attributes a first signup. It does not change USB3LINKPOWERMGMNT
- Best EU path: spare Ethernet mini-PC — USB 3 Link Power Management = Off plugged in. USB selective suspend = Disabled. Processor idle disable = Enabled. Processor performance boost mode = Enabled. Maximum processor state = 100%. Minimum processor state = 100%. System cooling policy = Active. Energy Saver Off. Efficiency leaf Off. Game Mode Off. Put my device to sleep after = Never. Leave the box on AC, vents clear
- On battery on a real travel laptop: Moderate USB 3 LPM is acceptable so the chassis can save milliwatts. Farm overnight only on AC with USB 3 LPM Off, USB selective suspend Off, Sleep Never, and the chassis not in a bag
- Tell the household: a dark monitor is supposed to happen; a USB 3 dongle that stays in U0 on AC will not spin extra fans. Do not buy a “SuperSpeed unlock pack”. Prefer onboard Ethernet if the dongle still drops after LPM Off — cheap hubs and front-panel USB headers remain a hardware problem
After USB 3 LPM is Off and Sleep stays Never
Sign in with the same account you intend to keep. Leave the box on AC. Confirm the official tray through a quiet hour. Use /earnapp/ if you never started from our tracked invite.
- Tray Online through a quiet week with USB 3 LPM Off, USB selective suspend Off, and Sleep Never: leave it. We will not quote a fake first-day amount. Screenshot your own dashboard if you need a record
- USB 3 LPM Off but USB selective suspend still Enabled: switch to the USB selective-suspend guide. This page’s SuperSpeed switch is done; USB 2 root-hub suspend may still drop the dongle
- USB 3 LPM Off but Device Manager still allows the computer to turn off the USB Ethernet device: switch to the NIC power-saving guide
- USB 3 LPM Off but Processor idle disable still Disabled on a USB NIC box: switch to the processor idle-disable guide (C-states can still stall uncore + xHCI)
- USB 3 LPM Off but EEE / Green Ethernet still On on a USB Realtek: switch to the EEE guide
- USB 3 LPM Off but Energy Saver still On: switch to the Energy Saver guide
- USB 3 LPM Off but EarnApp.exe still shows Efficiency: switch to the Efficiency-mode guide
- USB 3 LPM Off but Sleep after still has minutes: switch to the always-on guide
- USB 3 LPM Off, stall is SATA Partial/Slumber: switch to the AHCI HIPM/DIPM guide
- USB 3 LPM Off, stall is NVMe ASPM: switch to the PCIe ASPM guide
- USB 3 LPM Off, tray Limited on a modern laptop with Sleep Never: switch to the Modern Standby guide and run powercfg /a
- USB 3 LPM Off, USB selective suspend Off, idle-disable Enabled, boost Enabled, max 100%, min 100%, cooling Active, Sleep Never, Energy Saver Off, Efficiency leaf Off, Game Mode Off, Game Bar Off, HIPM/DIPM Active or N/A, ASPM Off, disk timeout Never, screen timeout short, lid Do nothing, hybrid sleep Off, power button Do nothing, Hibernate Never, Fast startup Off, NIC checkbox Off, EEE Off, Wi‑Fi unused or Maximum Performance, random MAC Off, unmetered home fibre, tray Online, still $0 after a quiet week: switch to the offline/$0 guide (firewall, official binary, Limited)
What we will not claim
There is no RefDeal EarnApp promo code, no published “USB 3 LPM Off bonus,” and no honest EU minimum we can paste from a 2023 screenshot. Primary CTA stays the EarnApp offer with our tracked invite. Hub: /guides/bandwidth-safety/. Starter: /en/start/bandwidth/.
