What this guide is (and is not)
Sleep, lid-close and “never sleep on AC” belong in always-on-pc-earnapp-setup-europe-2026. Metered Wi‑Fi/Ethernet belongs in earnapp-windows-metered-connection-europe-2026. A tray that vanished after reboot belongs in earnapp-windows-autostart-reboot-europe-2026. A running tray that is Offline or stuck at $0 with Energy Saver already Off belongs in earnapp-offline-zero-earnings-europe-2026. First-run SmartScreen belongs in earnapp-windows-smartscreen-install-europe-2026. Moving boxes belongs in earnapp-new-pc-same-account-europe-2026. First PayPal timing belongs in earnapp-first-paypal-cashout-europe-2026. Here Windows is power-throttling a client that still looks awake.
RefDeal will not invent an Energy Saver “unlock code,” a Bright Data battery coupon, or an EU payout minimum copied from a 2023 screenshot. Energy Saver is a Windows 11 24H2+ power policy. EarnApp is a Bright Data client. Install from the tracked invite, then let the PC stay in Balanced / Best performance on AC without Energy Saver.
Confirm it is Energy Saver, not sleep or metered
Energy Saver is a Windows power policy — not a missing EarnApp promo code.
- Win+I → System → Power (or Power & battery). If Energy Saver is On, or “Turn on Energy Saver automatically” fires at a high percent while the laptop is plugged in, you belong here — even when EarnApp’s tray is green
- Leaf / battery icon in the taskbar showing Energy Saver or Battery saver active on AC = this guide. That is not the Sleep timer and not a metered NIC badge
- If the screen blanks but the PC stays awake, that is fine (always-on guide). If the tray disappeared after a reboot, use autostart. If the adapter shows Metered, use the metered guide first
- OEM “Quiet / Eco / Whisper” modes (Lenovo Vantage, Dell Power Manager, ASUS Armoury) can re-enable Energy Saver after you turn it off. Check those once; do not install a “PC optimizer” to chase cents
Turn Energy Saver off for a home always-on box
Do this on the machine that actually runs EarnApp. Do not farm a work laptop whose MDM forces Eco mode.
- Open /earnapp/ and use the RefDeal tracked invite if the client is not installed yet. The invite attributes a first signup. It does not disable Energy Saver
- Settings → System → Power → Energy Saver → Off. Disable “Always use Energy Saver” and raise or disable the automatic threshold so a 80–100% battery on AC cannot flip it back on
- If you still see Battery saver (older Windows 11): Settings → System → Power & battery → Battery saver → Off, and turn off “Turn battery saver on automatically”
- Power mode on AC: Balanced or Best performance. Best power efficiency on a plugged-in spare PC is the same class of trap. Screen-off is OK; Hibernate and Sleep stay Never on AC (always-on guide)
After Energy Saver is Off
Sign in with the same account you intend to keep. Leave the box on AC. Confirm the official tray. Use /earnapp/ if you never started from our tracked invite.
- Tray Online after Energy Saver Off: leave it a quiet week. We will not quote a fake first-day amount. Screenshot your own dashboard if you need a record
- Energy Saver flips back On after a reboot: check OEM Eco utilities and “Always use Energy Saver.” School MDM that forces Battery saver is not yours to fight — use a personal home PC, or skip
- Tray Online but $0 after a quiet week with Energy Saver Off and an unmetered home fibre line: switch to the offline/$0 guide (firewall, official binary, Limited). Power mode is done
- Unplugged laptops: Energy Saver / Battery saver will return. EarnApp on battery is a poor EU path — plug in, or use a spare always-on mini-PC via the tracked invite
What we will not claim
There is no RefDeal EarnApp promo code, no published “Energy Saver bonus,” and no honest EU minimum we can paste from a 2023 screenshot. Primary CTA stays the EarnApp offer with our tracked invite. Hub: /guides/bandwidth-safety/. Starter: /en/start/bandwidth/.
