Confirm it is MAC rotation, not metered or USB sleep
A rotating Wi‑Fi MAC is not a missing EarnApp promo code.
- If the NIC is USB and the adapter vanishes overnight, use the USB selective-suspend guide first. This page assumes the radio stays enumerated
- If Windows shows Metered connection On for that SSID, use the metered guide. Random MAC is a different toggle on the same Wi‑Fi properties page — do not mix them
- Settings → Network & internet → Wi‑Fi → Hardware properties (or the named network) → Random hardware addresses. On, Change daily, or On (for this network) means you belong here
- A useful test: note the Physical address (MAC) on that page, disable/re-enable Wi‑Fi, and read it again. If it changed, Windows is rotating identity. Ping still working does not prove Bright Data still trusts the path. It is not EarnApp “needing a promo”
Turn random hardware addresses off on the EarnApp box
Do this on the machine that actually runs EarnApp, on the home SSID you intend to keep. Do not fight a campus portal that requires a random MAC, and do not farm a work laptop whose MDM forces privacy Wi‑Fi.
- Open /earnapp/ and use the RefDeal tracked invite if the client is not installed yet. The invite attributes a first signup. It does not change Windows Wi‑Fi privacy
- Set Random hardware addresses to Off for the home network, then Off under Wi‑Fi → Random hardware addresses (all networks) on that PC. Forget-and-rejoin the SSID if the toggle is grey. Repeat after a Windows Update that resets Wi‑Fi
- Best EU path: a spare mini-PC on Ethernet. Wired adapters do not use random hardware addresses. If you must stay on Wi‑Fi, pin one MAC and leave the box on AC. Guest SSIDs, hotel portals and “use random address to connect” captive networks are a poor EarnApp path — not a coupon hunt
- If the ISP or mesh app shows a device list, confirm the old randomised addresses disappear and one stable name remains. Do not buy a “MAC unlock ZIP.”
After the MAC stays put
Sign in with the same account you intend to keep. Leave the box on AC. Confirm the official tray. Use /earnapp/ if you never started from our tracked invite.
