What this guide is (and is not)
Settings → Gaming → Game Mode belongs in earnapp-windows-game-mode-europe-2026. That page is the OS gaming-priority toggle. This page is the overlay: Settings → Gaming → Xbox Game Bar (Open Xbox Game Bar using this button on a controller / Win+G). On versus Off. When On, GameBar.exe, Xbox Game Bar widgets, screenshots, broadcasts, and background recording can stay running after you close a title. They burn CPU/GPU, hold a capture pipeline, and can still trip a leftover “in a game” path that starves Bright Data’s official client — even though the tray still says Online. Task Manager → Details → EarnApp.exe → Efficiency mode / EcoQoS belongs in earnapp-windows-efficiency-mode-europe-2026. Energy Saver belongs in earnapp-windows-energy-saver-europe-2026. PCI Express ASPM, EEE / Green Ethernet, NIC Device Manager, USB suspend, Wi‑Fi Power Saving Mode, random MAC, metered NIC, Fast startup, reboot autostart, SmartScreen, new-PC, sleep/lid, offline/$0 and first PayPal have their own pages. Here Game Bar was still On while Game Mode already looked “fixed.”
RefDeal will not invent a “Game Bar promo,” an Xbox coupon, or an EU payout minimum copied from a 2023 screenshot. Xbox Game Bar is a Windows Settings overlay. EarnApp is a Bright Data client that needs a live, recognisably residential session. Install from the tracked invite, then set Xbox Game Bar Off on the one spare always-on PC — or leave Game Bar On on the laptop you actually clip gameplay on and do not farm that machine overnight.
Confirm it is Game Bar, not Game Mode
A Game Bar PC still capturing the desktop is not a missing EarnApp promo code.
- If Settings → Gaming → Game Mode is still On, fix that first on the Game Mode guide. You can have Game Mode Off and still stall because Win+G / GameBar.exe is resident
- If Task Manager still shows an Efficiency / EcoQoS leaf on EarnApp.exe, use the Efficiency mode guide. That is a per-process leaf; this page is the overlay
- Settings → Gaming → Xbox Game Bar. On means you belong here for the EarnApp box. Off is the spare always-on PC value. A clip/stream laptop can keep Game Bar On — just do not expect overnight Bright Data on that same device
- Task Manager → Processes: look for Game Bar, GameBarFTW, Xbox Game Bar widgets, or “Xbox App.” Quit them. A useful test: note the tray, turn Xbox Game Bar Off, reboot once, wait through a quiet night. If earnings recover only after Game Bar Off, you were not missing a promo. Search “Xbox Game Bar Windows 11” on Microsoft Learn, not a random “overlay unlock ZIP”
Set Xbox Game Bar Off on the EarnApp box
Do this on the machine that actually runs EarnApp, on the home Ethernet port you intend to keep. Do not fight a work laptop whose MDM locks Gaming settings, and do not farm a phone hotspot.
- Open /earnapp/ and use the RefDeal tracked invite if the client is not installed yet. The invite attributes a first signup. It does not change Xbox Game Bar
- Settings → Gaming → Xbox Game Bar → Off (and uncheck controller shortcut if shown). Then confirm Game Mode is Off, Energy Saver is Off on AC, and Task Manager has no Efficiency leaf on EarnApp.exe. All four can be wrong at once
- Best EU path: a spare mini-PC with no Xbox widgets, Game Bar Off, Game Mode Off, sleep Never on AC. Hotel portals and café SSIDs are a poor EarnApp path — not a coupon hunt
- Confirm the official tray stays Online through a quiet night. Do not buy a “Game Bar FPS pack” or a fake Bright Data overlay tool.
After Game Bar stays Off
Sign in with the same account you intend to keep. Leave the box on AC. Confirm the official tray. Use /earnapp/ if you never started from our tracked invite.
- Tray Online through a quiet week with Xbox Game Bar Off: leave it. We will not quote a fake first-day amount. Screenshot your own dashboard if you need a record
- Game Bar Off but Game Mode still On: switch to the Game Mode guide. Game Bar is done
- Game Bar Off but the tray vanished after Restart: switch to the autostart/reboot guide
- Game Bar Off, Game Mode Off, tray Online, still $0 after a quiet week with Energy Saver Off, Efficiency leaf Off, ASPM Off, EEE Off, Wi‑Fi unused or Maximum Performance, random MAC Off, USB suspend Off, Ethernet NIC checkbox Off, Fast startup Off, and an unmetered home fibre line: switch to the offline/$0 guide (firewall, official binary, Limited)
- PCs you actually clip or stream on: keep Game Bar On while you record. EarnApp on that same overnight session is a poor EU path — plug a spare always-on mini-PC via the tracked invite
